The Significance of Character Traits in Experiential Learning Activities in Marketing Education

چکیده

This paper describes an exploratory study related to the importance of character traits for marketing graduates. Marketing educators know the significance of knowledge acquisition and career skill development for their students, yet the area of character development has been mostly ignored. This study reports findings from a small sample of marketing students who provided perceptions of the importance of various character traits for both marketing graduates and professors. In general, marketing students should be motivated, organized, and responsible, while professors should possess the traits of fairness and helpful. These findings provide a foundation for further investigation of character trails in marketing education.
